I Get Mail: DOES NOT APPLY... yet again

And we finally get to the point, he's written a screenplay:

Having been an X Files watcher for many revolutions of Series 1(ONE)-9(NINE) and whereas thirteen productions has LEFT THE SCENE I would like to serve as a catalyst or offer my own screenplay following the Birth of Baby William! How could I?

I don't know how far unsolicited fan screenplays get in a television production office, but I'm betting it's a short trip from the mail room to the shredder.

In the past, I have attempted to explain to Bill the error of spamming people with unsolicited crap, but it appears to have fallen on deaf ears.

From this take, I can only assume that Bill's decided that Chris Carter has abandoned his characters to the public domain and he is now free to run off and make his own version of the X-Files. Bill may need to have a little chat with a copyright lawyer over that one.

I Get Mail: does not apply... again

For some odd reason, Bill felt the need to spam this twice:

May I contact,by email, and discuss my ideas with Red Wolf as I have some rather unique, perhaps unheard of, ideas that warrant some professional respect and feedback? Before I take more time and space that this little, amateurish site provides? If not Red Wolf, whom may I contact inre to The X Files Thank You for your attention; I earnestly desire some feedback

I have repeatedly attempted to explain to Bill, using really small words, that I have no connection to Chris Carter, The X-Files or anything else he seems obsessed with. I have had no luck explaining that I'm not even in the same country he is, but it all seems to fall on deaf ears.

Oh well, I figure he'll be back again next week.

Dear Red Wolf et al., As you and your Episode Guide have been and are an extremely professional and notable resource as I have just begun my (4th) fourth orbit or circuit of The X Files on SciFi and my own purchased(LEGAL) Series Seasons 1-9) You have earned my ulimate respect of your judgement! If I was itching (like now) to continue on with the X Files beginning with Mulder's and Scully's Son, William, Chris Carter, left the Series with so much to continue from...I would like to resurrect the series! The cadre of Writers, Directors, and crew of thirteen productions...which is now still, I am willing to go to Losa Angeles, California and facilitate a NEW AGE Am I being foolish? Forgive my Northeastern-naivete! I CANNOT BELIEVE CHRIS CARTER WOULD ALLOW David and Gillian to be so powerful Allowing his brainchild be so dependent on Two stars who gave their best and deserve rest! Please respond to me I am Serious William P. Simonetti

It's full moon? He's off his meds? I'm just special this week? Who knows, but Bill felt the need to spam me again this morning:

Dear Red Wolf, I would like to know to whom I may address, in order that I may personally crusade in order that the X Files is much more than just David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, but a Cadre of Extremely talented Writers,GIFTED, Directors, and Producers!
I Get Mail: Educated (?) Educator

If you have any form of online presence sooner or later you'll get odd email.

I have an interesting regular missive sender with an X-Files fetish and a seriously dodgy grip on reality. I figure it's about time to share Bill's emails with the world. Plus it should serve as a warning that if you feel the need to send me insane email, I may well feel the urge to share it with a wider audience.

Dear Red Wolf, Would it be feasible to personally fly out to Los Angeles, the former site of thirteen productions, to rally or promote the cause of continuing Chris Carter's BRAINCHILD deeply imbedded into his X Files Never has a series left the stage with such an easy or simple to return to the original plot formation...Okay Mulder has left in a rather earth shaking event; But he left behind Little William and Scully...AND SUCH A CADRE OF WRITERS! I know I can speak for millions who would rather sit on their duffs lamenting! Please respond and I wil submit the Hows And Wherefores, [Bill's full name and address removed]

He's got the uppercase shouting, the weird title casing of unrelated words, peculiar quoting and interesting spelling down, but email forms do limit you in your ability to change the font to Comic Sans, switch the colours to clown vomit and add blink tags, so it could have looked even more wacky.

Nihon Yasumi: Day 1

So, I decided to take the RFID passport out for a spin, and now Neibi and I are in Sapporo, Japan, sequestered in a business hotel opposite Hokkaido University. Outside it's a bracing -6 degrees celsius.

I will now relate to you the tale of day one.

On the first day, December 14th, we flew from Sydney to Narita (Tokyo international airport). We flew JAL and it was pretty good: the flight left late yet arrived early, we got vegetarian food, and the headrest entertainment screens were absorbing. The chick who checked us in was like an angrier Lee Lin Chin, but she got the job done.

I spent my eight and a half hours playing go (on the headrest: victory by resignation), watching movies (Stardust, enjoyable; and Ratatouille, a competent entry), playing Travel Blokus (with Neibi... we tried to play Ingenious Travel Edition but she dropped the pegs), reading Nabokov (short stories), eating (rice crackers), and playing shogi (on the headrest: defeat by checkmate).

When we landed we got into a tiny train (my head touched the roof) which took us to honour systems customs ("I'd like to declare..." "No, just go through."). From there we took the famous airport limo bus to Haneda (Tokyo domestic).

So, the first day was most spent sitting down, but after checking into our hotel (which was nice) we strolled through the industrial ghetto seeking dinner. We found an extremely Japanese street, which was laid out as follows: curry house, medical clinic, hana-ya, yakitori stand, level crossing, McDonalds, Lawson konbini, karaoke bar, soba restaurant. The soba place had a kana / primary school kanji menu so I thought I had a decent shot at ordering our dinner.

We got ooki yasai soba o futatsu, which for some reason had spam in it ("spam, spam, eggs and spam, tenpura and spam", etc). The patrons mocked us in a friendly fashion. "Dozo", they said, gesturing to the counter as I fell over trying to remove my shoes. The proprietor was a fan of Australia and kept mentioning Kingusu Kurossu, which he was keen on.

The next morning we ate breakfast at the hotel (an East-West buffet with fruit salad and cold miso), then flew to Sapporo, Hokkaido.
