Spring!

Spring has arrived and things are flowering in the garden.

As I have a long line of plant murders in my past, I've narrowed things down to some of the tougher specimens. I'm also a big fan of foliage. I figure if something is only going to flower briefly, why have a crappy looking plant the rest of the year, hence the Irises and Cliveas with their strappy green leaves.

Iris

The luscious purple Irises came from my great aunt Marj.

Clivea

The bright orange Cliveas hiding under a tree are from my Nan. Both far better gardeners than I could ever hope to be.
