by Red WolfDawn had been trying to convince Spike that she needed this information and, as Buffy had declared her to be a paragon of innocence, her argument was that it was better she learned from him than at the hands of a stranger.
Spike buried his face in his arms on the table. They'd been over this again and again. The discussion had gotten heated until he'd eventually caved under her constant pestering.
Sighing, he looked into Dawn's eyes, seeing her rapt attention. "Okay, Bit, you win. Huurthot demons can only be killed by stabbing them in the eyes or ears..."

It's not like Buffy would bother to teach her little sister practical things, like self defence and the weaknesses of the many and varied demons drawn to the Hellmouth, so somebody had to do it — via LiveJournal

I'm noticing a strange parallel with the drabble, can't imagine what it could be.
I've got two weekly drabbles (Jossverse Drabbles and Television Show Drabbles), plus 15 Minute Ficlets and now 30 Minute Muse, not to mention that I'm taking part in MaybeDarkPink's Druficathon.
Rather than expanding the odd drabble, would you settle for a reasonably steady stream of short stories that may or may not be related (depending on challenge topic) instead? If I get several on a connected theme, then you can politely suggest that combining the drabbles would enhance the narrative.
And I suddenly find myself talking utter bollocks. Now before I start channelling William again, my Spike-voice is going to take itself off and get thoroughly toasted, with something loud and obnoxious playing to drown out your Dawn-voice — and we both know how well that works — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 07.03.2004 16:15 AEST |

Seems we're both busy. Druficathon is scary. For now I'm recollecting some useful data and trying to fit the requests into a plot. Today I've been working on a quasi F/X and boy, do I still have work to do!
Oooh, short stories are okay. It'll be a little like a collage and I love collages. *grins* Thanks! *HUGS* — via LiveJournal — posted by Leni at 07.03.2004 16:36 AEST |

I don't know what's worse, lots of bizarre requests (fairy floss, a hand plane and a can of cat food) or nothing to work with. I got smut would be nice, no fluff and a pairing as my Druficathon challenge.
I was spinning my wheels for a topic to work with for a while. Finally found a direction to head off in, hopefully I will have worked a plot of sorts into it before the deadline. Good luck with yours — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 07.03.2004 16:43 AEST |

Hmm... I prefer the scary requests. Ficathons are supposed to be challenging and I like that.
What I don't get is why you'd be asked for no fluff... it's Dru! Not even Dru/S qualifies as fluff... weird. Good luck too! — via LiveJournal — posted by Leni at 08.03.2004 08:14 AEST |
