Squabble

Squabbleby Red Wolf

Spike, Anya, Tara and Dawn were sitting on the back steps listening to the screaming match raging inside the house.

Buffy, Willow and Xander were going at each other hammer and tongs. Giles was silent, but after his last attempt at intercession, he may well have spontaneously combusted in response to the tongue-lashing he'd received.

The one thing the back stoop four agreed on was that Buffy was guilty of hiding something. Spike was betting it was sex, Anya money and Dawn a car accident. Tara just wanted everything to settle down, but tea and sympathy would have to wait.

This was a tough one, as I'm not a fan of Shakespeare and already done a story on my favourite quote. But this quote called to me — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 28.10.2004 19:14 AEST | #

Ooh, Scooby fight! The split down the middle of the gang, between the original members and the other four, is always interesting to me. You've got me curious about what they were fighting over now. *g* — via LiveJournal — posted by Anne at 28.10.2004 19:15 AEST | #

I don't know what they're fighting about, I'm outside on the steps with the others taking bets. I'm leaning towards cosmetics or clothes, but Spike tells me that's two guesses — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 28.10.2004 19:16 AEST | #

Great job! I love their responses to the arguing, especially Giles. Poor Giles :) — via LiveJournal — posted by Cady at 28.10.2004 19:17 AEST | #

I do have to feel sorry for Giles, but if had any sense of self-preservation he would have been out the back with the sensible people — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 28.10.2004 19:17 AEST | #
