Switchby Red Wolf

Rose was lying stretched out on the deck, shining a torch into the open area where the Doctor was working.

"Is it supposed to be like that?"

"What?" The Doctor paused in his fiddling and looked up.

"Are the switches below the flange meant to be in that position, when the ones on the other side go the other way?"

The Doctor turned around to get a better view. "Ah." He toggled the switches and the TARDIS' comforting hum started again.

Rose grinned at the Doctor, covering her mouth as it turned into a yawn. "Not totally useless, am I?"

Looks like I may have to get into the the Doctor Who fandom, despite never having seen so much as a single episode of any of them, if it's going to become one your new major writing staples. Guess that'll make it Fandom #81 or so... Suggestions on places to start immersing myself would not be unwelcome. :)

Scribbled on the back of one of my fics was another fic idea (discovered during end of term packing). It was along the lines of tell a fic from the sonic screwdrier's POV.
