by Red WolfIt wasn't until Rose gotten out of bed that she realised it was the eerie quiet of the TARDIS that had woken her.
Hurrying down the corridors, Rose's concern grew. She couldn't imagine what might be wrong.
Her entry to the console room was notable for its lack of grace. Tripping over a displaced floor panel, she fell into the open access way and landed squarely on the Doctor.
"Ow! Elbows!"
Rose carefully extricated herself.
"What on earth are you doing up?"
"I couldn't sleep."
"Seeing as you're awake, hand me the mallet and try not trip over anything breakable."

Oh heck! Um, how about
flange? Always thought that was a good, woody word. ;) — via LiveJournal — posted by Grandmum at 18.06.2005 15:38 AEST |
Mmm... flange... I like the word flange. I don't associate it with wood, but you'd definitely find them all over the console room.

The muse likes challenges. If it doesn't have challenges it buggers off to parts unknown — via LiveJournal

you know, as a college student, we always are getting assignments about a 300 word essay, or a 3,0 word essay and bitch about how much it's going to take to write it, when we notice, ten minutes later we only need 3 more words to finish it up, and we've got a whole page in our heads..
Amazing how short 100 words is. Barely a paragraph if you lump it all together.
Sweet, simple, and compeletly worth the read, brilliant — via fanfiction.net — posted by Goddess of Twlight at 18.06.2005 15:54 AEST |

I, on the other hand, didn't giggle. I think this had a nice

Thanks!
I'm fascinated by how people see things I write in different ways. It justifies my belief that deconstructing the meaning behind literature in high school English classes was absolute bollocks. People see what they want to see and that isn't always the same thing, may have little to do with what the author was intending while writing it and none of it is absolutely right or wrong.
I'm sometimes surprised I made it through school without being throttled by a teacher — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 18.06.2005 16:14 AEST |

I totally agree about lit classes. And that goes for college too. Aagh.

She already tried breaking the Doctor, I think he like the rest of the console room to stay in one piece — via LiveJournal
