by Red WolfDrusilla stopped under the wan light of a failing street lamp and removed a bone from the bundle Wolf wore across her back. She flung a rib into the undergrowth before allowing the wolf to lead her across the common.
"There, Puppy, all the wicked man's ribs have been cast to the wind. Somebody shall be having a fine picnic in the morning. All tasty and juicy."
Now that Drusilla's hunger had been sated, Wolf led them out of the park. She had a business arrangement to keep.
"Why are we going to visit the hide and bone man, Puppy?"

The girls do seem to like sharing the wealth of their night's work, don't they — via LiveJournal

I'm enjoying the practical but fun way the girls are disposing of the body. Lovely! — via LiveJournal

Why leave a body around for a dog walking to stumble over in the morning? If your victims aren't going to have to good sense to turn to dust like vampires, body disposal needs to be taken into consideration if you don't want to run into nasty complications with the law. And you may as well share the wealth — via LiveJournal

Man, these just keep getting better and better. Drusilla's insane comments are definitely the best. And the last line sort of reminds me of the "Rag and bone shop of the heart" comment Angelus made in Angel Season 4 — via LiveJournal

I don't remember the Angel comment, but I was thinking of rag and bone man, even though it's only partially what I was after — via LiveJournal

I just looked up what a "rag and bone man" was. Very interesting.
The "foul rag and bone shop of the heart" is a line from WB Yeat's The Circus Animal's Desertion, which Angelus quoted in Soulles — via LiveJournal — posted by alliterator at 22.04.2004 17:59 AEST |

Oh, my. They're so methodical, aren't they?
BTW: Do you have any idea how to minimize the comments? I've seen it done in a few journals, and am completely baffled. They weren't screened — I could still get to the the first comment (the only one which was fully maximized) and all the rest, but they weren't open for all to see. Oh, dear. Am I making any sense? — via LiveJournal — posted by Dawn S at 22.04.2004 18:02 AEST |

They are practical girls.
Had a look at your journal and see the problem. The comment minimising is an automatic thing, I think the spill rate for it to kick in is 50, you're curently at 48. Try testing it with three more comments and see if it does the trick — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 22.04.2004 18:02 AEST |
