Park 01: Father

Fatherby Red Wolf

The man in black approached the naked woman where she lay, apparently sleeping, on the grass. As he bent to check her, Drusilla appeared at his side and patted the woman's hair as she would a favoured pet.

"Puppy told me I mustn't hurt the man who lives in the church." She stood, taking his arm and leading him away. "I must only play with the bad men and I wouldn't want to renege on a promise."

As the man wandered on his way, not quite remembering his strange encounter, the naked woman joined Dru. "Try again, shall we, love."

A lovely drabble.

Dru is, well, she's damn scary. But for some reason, I always like reading her. There just something about the way she speaks that appeals to me. She's like a poetic child.

And maybe it's because Spike cared so much for her, that I can't help but care for her as well. But that sure didn't help me with Buffy at all... — via LiveJournal — posted by Dawn S at 15.04.2004 18:24 AEST | #

Thank you. Drusilla is a wonderfully appealing character to work with because she has no boundaries.

I liked Spike immediately, a far more interesting character than Buffy. So when Buffy treated Spike like shit, she earned my wrath. The same as Xander treating Anya badly and Willow being a bitch to Tara.

Despite being attached to another !verse, this !verse will need a name, so suggestions would be appreciated. The muse is pushing for Puppy!verse — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 15.04.2004 18:25 AEST | #

*blinks* Puppy!verse? *coughs* Idon'tknowaboutthat.

But I'm afraid to say that I don't have any better ideas at this moment. Unfortunately, it is about 11 p.m. here, and I'm completely knackered. I shall sleep on it tonight and get back to you when I can — via LiveJournal — posted by Dawn S at 15.04.2004 18:25 AEST | #

I have mentioned that the muse has its own agenda, and I'm not terribly certain that it's completely sane.

The naked woman is a werewolf, Dru calls her Puppy.

Have to see what future episodes bring, titlewise. But sleep will definitely help — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 15.04.2004 18:26 AEST | #

Creepy (and a little confusing). Was the naked woman Darla? Was the man in black a priest?

And I suppose if I can post the words late, you can post your entry late. No worries — via LiveJournal — posted by alliterator at 15.04.2004 18:27 AEST | #

Wait. I read the posts on your journal and have realize who the naked woman is. Interesting, very interesting. I like it — via LiveJournal — posted by alliterator at 15.04.2004 18:28 AEST | #

Welcome to the new, as yet un-named !verse. The guy in black is a priest, wanted to add a bit more on him, but hit the limit. Maybe next time.

Sorry for the lateness. I should have posted it last night. I thought I still had time before the time-difference kicked in. Bummer — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 15.04.2004 18:29 AEST | #

That's okay. Late entries are excepted.

Puppy!verse sounds like a cool name. Although, considering her and Dru's relationship, maybe it should be the Puppylove!verse — via LiveJournal — posted by alliterator at 15.04.2004 18:30 AEST | #

Oh that's brilliant! I couldn't work out what was happening until I read that — although obviously as it's Dru I'd have persevered. :0) — via LiveJournal

The next episode will clear that up. There's only so much you can do with 100 words.

Nice to hear you're a Dru fan. She is lovely — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 15.04.2004 18:32 AEST | #
