by Red WolfAndrew had known Xander long enough to know that the man had all the emotional maturity of a child. If he wasn't mooning over an object of lust, he was a wreck over whomever he was with; it had all become something of a running joke with his friends.
With the way Xander was behaving over his acquisition of a limited edition action figure, anyone would think he was planning his upcoming nuptials.
Nodding politely in agreement, Andrew wondered if a cult somewhere was missing a minion. Then he remembered Dracula and moved a little further away on the couch.

Ha! Nice twist, and I loved the reference to B vs D. Very fun — via LiveJournal

I'd actually forgotten about it until I wrote the bit about the cult and there it was — via LiveJournal

Andrew may be a geek, but Xander is even geekier — via LiveJournal

And to think the muse started off with Andrew sticking wings on action figures and ended up here. I think that worked out for the best — via LiveJournal

Seriously — Andrew's calling Xander immature?
Hm... Yeah, I could see that — via LiveJournal — posted by Mark Hunter at 19.09.2007 20:44 AEST |

I've let Andrew grow up a bit and he did have a herd of Slayers at his command in canon. Xander didn't quite manage to shake of his immaturity and I certainly haven't let him move on — via LiveJournal

andrew vs xander
I've taken pretty much the opposite course: in my stories Xander has matured a bit, while I haven't really dealt much with Andrew at all. One of the reasons I like your Andrew is that he has grown up and accepted responsibility, but at the same time he's still got those little quirks that made him so interesting to begin with — via LiveJournal — posted by Mark Hunter at 19.09.2007 20:45 AEST |

The nerd calling the geek odd! In other circumstances these two would have married! Well done — via LiveJournal

This story doesn't make much sense.
For starters, when did Andrew ever get to know Xander at all?
Second, your description doesn't fit with Xander's behaviour at all from the time Andrew did appear on the show.
Thirdly, Andrew was shown to be much more of a fanboy than Xander has even been hinted at, airbrushing the Death Star onto the Trio's van for instance. Aside from a collection of B5 plates, I don't recall any canon events that have Xander buying collectbles from any fandom.
Now if this fic was Buffy watching Andrew it would make more sense, esp. given that Andrew stayed for at least some time with her — via FanFiction.net — posted by Anonymous Coward at 23.09.2007 16:12 AEST |
