Missedby Red Wolf

Dawn had snapped at Rachel for no reason, and the yelling match had been enough for Spike to intervene before blood was spilled.

This went on for the rest of the week. After the first day, Rachel took to plugging herself into her iPod and ignoring Dawn's bad mood.

Spike still couldn't get Dawn to talk to him, but he had a hunch what was upsetting her.

When she woke on Sunday morning, she saw a photo of her mother in an antique silver frame. A single red rose stood beside it. Dawn burst into tears and hugged Spike tightly.

Oh that was lovely! I still miss Joyce. ;'(

I enjoyed Spike's sensitive way of not only knowing what Dawn's problem was, but dealing with it — via LiveJournal — posted by Grandmum at 09.06.2005 19:25 AEST | #

::gasp.. panic.. sigh::

Very sweet, good old Spike.

I find it very disorientating that you guys have your Mother's Day on a different day to us. For the last three days or so i have been reading my Flist, catching a reference to it and having a momentary heart attack inducing panic that i haven't bought anything, and then remembering i did it already weeks ago. Doesn't stop me panicking every time though. Yeesh — via LiveJournal — posted by Pheral at 09.06.2005 19:29 AEST | #

It is weird. Weirder still that AU, NZ, CA and US managed to co-ordinate anything — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 09.06.2005 19:29 AEST | #

Wah! :-(

Very good on Dawn's reaction, and on Spike's ability to figure out what's going on. He's always eerily good at reading the women in his life — via LiveJournal — posted by Elizabeth Culmer at 09.06.2005 19:34 AEST | #

He did seem to have the knack for knowing people. Whether he used his talents for good or evil is another matter — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 09.06.2005 19:35 AEST | #

Poor Dawn! :(

Good Spike! ::pets::

And play that funky music, Rachel! ;) — via LiveJournal — posted by Elizabeth Culmer at 09.06.2005 19:35 AEST | #

There will be much George Clinton on Rachel's iPod. Hopefully sung along to very loudly, and possibly badly, as a lesson in annoying the wrong people — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 09.06.2005 19:36 AEST | #

Oh, almost assuredly would it be sung badly. I couldn't carry a tune in bucket! — via LiveJournal — posted by Elizabeth Culmer at 09.06.2005 19:36 AEST | #

I thought it would be nice to have an insightful Spike who knows his girl, or can at least ferret out what's upsetting her — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 09.06.2005 19:38 AEST | #

::sniffs:: This made me want to hug Dawn. You conveyed a lot of emotion with 100 words. Great job! — via LiveJournal — posted by Chessie at 09.06.2005 19:39 AEST | #
