by Red WolfAfter the Doctor had announced their destination, Rose had expected to see a celebration of the change of season. Instead, she found herself being jostled by over-enthusiastic visitors at an intergalactic trade show.
They passed a stall where springs were displayed like salamis and another where they were loose and had mated with each other to form large spring knots.
The Doctor pointed out the highlights of the show, explaining the products on offer, but it wasn't really her cup of tea.
This wasn't exactly what she'd expected when the Doctor had offered to take her to the Spring Fair.

Sounds like the Doc caught a case of spring fever. ;)

Maybe she'd be more interested when they hit the Slinky or trampoline displays, but it sounds like a fair dedicated to springs would not be a fun place to be — via LiveJournal

I feel for you having to work the trade shows. It must be a fascinating glimpse into the insanity of humans — via LiveJournal

A silly muse is no less brilliant. Don't get her drunk, though — big trouble. That's where stuff like the movie
