by Red WolfHunching his shoulders against the downpour, Andrew watched people scurrying for cover.
He'd always been quite comfortable in the rain. It gave him a breather from his young charges before he snapped and turned them all into tiny Slayer action figures.
A man hurriedly hopped over puddles and offered to escort Andrew somewhere dry. Concern was written across his handsome features as he held an umbrella over them both.
Andrew smiled. Looking like a bedraggled puppy brought out the white knight in some people, particularly lovely young men who offered him coffee (and sometimes much more) to warm him up.

I thought it would be more likely that Andrew would get mothered by women, rather than hit upon. Which has its own advantages — via LiveJournal

Lovely piece :-)
As for the case that a young woman takes pity — he could always start talking to himself... — via LiveJournal — posted by elen_ancalima at 16.09.2007 16:49 AEST |

Yay Andrew — way to be sneaky. :-) (I would pay money to read a fic where he really does turn Slayers into collectible action figures and then threatens to sell them on eBay or something...)
