Levity

Levityby Red Wolf

Spike was idly flicking through a novelty desk calendar. "Exactly why are you covering Andrew's office in Post-Its?"

Dawn looked over her shoulder. "It will annoy Andrew and if we take a photo of our work and send it to 3M, they may send us a big box of more Post-Its."

Spike snorted at the thought of self-perpetuating insanity that invoked. "Wouldn't it just be easier to keel-haul him?" He held up the calendar.

Rachel chuckled. "That's Talk Like a Pirate Day. I don't think you're meant to get that far into character."

"Well, that takes the fun out it."

Great entry. I'm struggling to do one myself tonight. ^_^ — via LiveJournal — posted by Jan at 22.10.2005 17:05 AEST | #

If it wasn't Post-Its, it would have just degenerated into a Thinkgeek inspired cube war. I really must resist the lure of Thinkgeek — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 22.10.2005 17:06 AEST | #

"Wouldn't it just be easier to keel-haul him?"

::grin:: As annoying Andrew goes, this version is very creative :-) — via LiveJournal — posted by Elen Ancalima at 22.10.2005 17:06 AEST | #

They do seem to be an inventive lot, although it's probably a good thing their more bloody urges are kept mostly in check — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 22.10.2005 17:07 AEST | #

Hee! Talk like a Pirate Day! Love it — via LiveJournal — posted by jen_nsync_landl at 24.10.2005 18:10 AEST | #

I had to get in Talk Like a Pirate Day. Where would be the fun in forgetting something like that? — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 24.10.2005 18:13 AEST | #

::giggle:: So very cute and I agree with Spike that does take the fun out of it — via LiveJournal — posted by Kristi at 24.10.2005 18:14 AEST | #

At least they'll still get to call Andrew a scurvy wench, that should count for something — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 24.10.2005 18:15 AEST | #

::is officially in love with your icon::!!!

Well, that takes the fun out it.

I have to say I concur. :D Might as well enjoy the day to its fullest. Even at someone else's expense — via LiveJournal — posted by IrishVampire13 at 24.10.2005 18:16 AEST | #

I felt the urge for a pirate icon and couldn't find a good Errol Flynn image that worked — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 24.10.2005 18:16 AEST | #

Depp's a perfectly reasonable substitute. ;-D — via LiveJournal — posted by IrishVampire13 at 24.10.2005 18:17 AEST | #

Avast me Matey. Aarrr! That's a mighty fine drabble, there — via LiveJournal — posted by Sandra Strait at 24.10.2005 18:19 AEST | #

::grin:: I'm sure Spike could find a cutlass and an eyepatch somewhere, though the accent would need a bit of work... — via LiveJournal — posted by Elizabeth Culmer at 24.10.2005 18:20 AEST | #

Don't know about the outfit, but I think Spike would quite enjoy threatening people with a cutlass — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 24.10.2005 18:20 AEST | #

I think I've read all of your Buffy stories so I thought telling you how much I enjoy them is way over due. I envy the concise way you write and manage to tell an entire story in so few words. (My family reckons it can take me 200 words just to say hello) I like your Dawn/Spike stories; a favourite coupling of mine and I wish Joss had kept up that friendship during season 7 — they were fun together. I'm looking forward to reading more from you — via fanfiction.net — posted by janekle at 14.01.2006 16:07 AEST | #

::thoughtful look:: I can very much see Sir Spike doing the But where's the rum? scene from Curse of the Black Pearl, you know.

::procedes to melt into lust-like puddle at thought of Spike and Capt. Sparrow on deserted island with self:: — via LiveJournal — posted by tsita at 14.01.2006 16:10 AEST | #

I think I'll just leave the three of you and your lust puddle alone then — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 14.01.2006 16:12 AEST | #

I'm generous. I'll share — via LiveJournal — posted by tsita at 14.01.2006 16:12 AEST | #

That is so Dawn. And it's also the reason we can't have Post-It notes in my house... — via LiveJournal — posted by Mark at 14.01.2006 16:21 AEST | #

I've never gotten around to it. Possibly because I've never had access to enough Post-Its to make it worthwhile — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 14.01.2006 16:21 AEST | #

Hee! I can just imagine the expression on Andrew's face when he sees his newly decorated office — via LiveJournal — posted by Chessie at 14.01.2006 16:28 AEST | #
