Rose was bemused at first.

With no moons showing and the stars casting the only light, it was unbelievably dark. The Doctor had grinned and led her into the unknown, his torch beam bouncing as they climbed a gentle hill.

"What now?" Rose asked as they stopped.

"We wait."

Rose didn't need to see him to know that he was grinning like a madman. "For what? Oh..." Brilliantly coloured lights rippled across the sky. They were bright enough to colour the vast plains around them. "It's beautiful."

"Yes. It certainly is." The Doctor was no longer looking at the sky.

Ah, yes, Mulder and Scully had a nice big dose of UST. There was a drinking game that said that if they kissed you should just drink the whole crate/bottle, because life as we knew it was over.
