"That's not going to help us find what's killing people." One of Xander's hentai comics propped open in the book, Dawn was surprised he didn't slam the book closed and make excuses like Xander always did. "A bit unrealistic."
"I could prove otherwise, love."
"I'll hold you to it." Spike paled, it was getting harder to tell when Dawn was joking.

Whether Dawn's kidding or not seems to be all in the mind of the reader. Spawners read it as no, friendshippers read it as yes. It's one of the interesting thing about writing drabbles that allude to things — via LiveJournal

I love the cultural divide that sees Japanese culture embracing comics in all forms, while western audiences regard them as childish (obviously they've never read anything by Warren Ellis or Neil Gaiman).
Did you know that the dialogue dubbed for Sailor Moon is dumbed down for the US audience to market it at children? It's original form is more adult.

A belated birthday drabble? Hmm... let's see. It has to be something incredibly depressive where all the characters are F'ed up. (of course that's how I like my stories) Something involving the greatest imaginary love triangle of all time..Angelus/Dawn/Spike? Or just Dawn and Angelus. Or just Spike and Dawn. I don't care. As long as it's so terribly screwed up that I feel better about how bad my birthday was.
I know. I own some of the original sailor moon episodes on tape. Lots of drama, lesbianism, and some weird ass shite. It's very amusing to see what they're REALLY saying. It's great. Poor Americans miss out on all the good stuff. They even have a broadway sailor moon in japan! DAMN JAPAN! DAMN AMERICA!

I see you are in Oz. The guys who makes these (Johnti Pickering I think he is called) does all sorts of comercials over here now. That website has made him a fantastic career! I personally prefer the random toons he does but I do Love weebl & Bob .
