by Red WolfGiles shook his head as he watched Andrew's charges empty their haul onto a table in the common room and share out their sweets. He was surprised that the Watcher had managed to find local households prepared for Halloween.
"How on Earth did you manage all this?" Giles waved his hand at a collective harvest that could put a dentist's children through university.
Jiang-Li adjusted her pirate hat and grinned through a mouthful of jelly babies. "Andrew started explaining Star Trek and people couldn't give us enough candy."
"Ah. I see you've been using your powers for evil again, Andrew."

Much poking was involved with that line. Which is part of the reason I don't get around to writing longer stuff, because I waste too much time noodling around with minor details in the start — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 09.09.2007 20:46 AEST |

Ironically, Just as I finished reading this story the end credit theme from Star Trek I came on the soundtrack station I was listening to on iTunes. Coincidence? I hope so! — via FanFiction.net
