Andrew jumped at the voice and reflexively tried to mask his work with his body, but visibly relaxed when he realised it was Anya who had snuck up on him unawares. He stepped aside and indicated the thermostat that he had just finished reassembling.
"I was making a few environmental modifications." He led Anya over to his laptop so he could toggle through the camera feeds from the basement. "I thought that if I could raise the temperature while Xander was repairing the stairs, he might take his shirt off."
"Good work. I'll get the popcorn."
