Rose walked back to the TARDIS, arm in arm with Jack and the Doctor.

"Does each couple get a copy of the visitor's book?"

"That book you insisted on signing was the marriage registry."

Rose looked up at the Doctor in shock. "We're married?"

Jack unlocked the TARDIS. "Technically, you're married to both of us."

Scooping her into his arms, the Doctor carried Rose inside and kissed her soundly.

"Hey. What about me?"

The Doctor picked Jack up, making Rose giggle delightedly. No jail breakouts, no angry mobs, accidentally marrying her two best mates. It really didn't get much better.

Brilliant. Just what the Doctor ordered for such an ebil day. Thanks for sharing — via LiveJournal — posted by becky_monster at 13.09.2007 19:43 AEST | #

Always happy to have cheered someone up. Especially when it's something like this rather than a tale about an axe murderer — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 13.09.2007 19:44 AEST | #

Delightful! I like the way they both just let her do it — not that Rose minded in the least. The Doctor carrying Jack over the threshold too was a lovely touch.

So tell me, were did you have in mind John Barrowman and his partner getting registered when the laws change in the UK?

I've met JB. He's even nicer in the flesh. Well OK I got his autograph and had me photie took. He reads LJ communities about him - even fan fics!!! ::gasp:: — via LiveJournal — posted by Grandmum at 13.09.2007 19:48 AEST | #

Glad you liked.

I hadn't heard about John and Scott, great article and adorable photo. I did hear about his LJ reading though and was deeply amused — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 13.09.2007 19:49 AEST | #

I did hear about his LJ reading though and was deeply amused.

I wasn't! We presented him with this tshirt (he's an M) and he knew all about it already 'cos he'd read about it on LJ. There was this embarrassed pause as we all thought about what we'd written about JB — and the fics! ::blush:: — via LiveJournal — posted by Grandmum at 13.09.2007 19:50 AEST | #

Just home from a Carol Concert in a freezing cold church, but that has warmed me up a treat. Thanks.

Strictly speaking I think Rose should have been doing the lifting ;-) — via LiveJournal — posted by mad_jaks at 13.09.2007 19:53 AEST | #

It is the Doctor's TARDIS, but it was Rose's mistake. Perhaps they could take turns. Or maybe, they both carry Jack inside.

Jack cakes? Bugger the jaffa cakes, I want my Ginger Snaps. Bloody supermarket stopped stocking them. ::grumble:: — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 13.09.2007 19:54 AEST | #

grumble grumble grumble... Do you? — via LiveJournal — posted by mad_jaks at 13.09.2007 19:54 AEST | #

Cute! The closest substitute I've found is those thin Swedish ginger biscuits. Good gingery taste, but different texture.

It should be mentioned that on the rare occasions I bother to cook and ginger is involved, I add heaps. All spice? Ditch that and add ginger instead. And some crystalised ginger for good measure — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 13.09.2007 19:55 AEST | #

Hee! Very cute. (Though I think there should be a comma between angry mobs and and accidentally marrying. Otherwise it sort of says that she didn't marry them) — via LiveJournal — posted by Elizabeth Culmer at 13.09.2007 19:57 AEST | #

The word limit kicked my arse on this one, it needs to be longer to clear up oddness and place it properly. I had to cull the bits about mass weddings and cake decorations, much to my annoyance.

Not a cookery discussion, but carried over from from dw100

My ginger snaps get added oomph from extra lemon rind when I get the time to bake them...

And an evening where I get to read a new Nine/Rose/Jack drabble from you? Can't get much better either.

Seriously, it's like the cherry on top of the icing of my fic reading sessions.
