by Red WolfSpike gently shook Dawn, leaning down to whisper in her ear. "Come on. Time to get up."
She opened one eye and waited for the numbers on the digital clock to focus themselves. "It's 3:00am. On a Sunday. Go 'way."
"Get up. Get dressed. Grab an apple, a sword and meet me upstairs in the office. I'll get the coffee on." Spike playfully slapped her arse to get her moving, leaping out of the way as she flailed to retaliate and got tangled in the sheets. "We have work to do, love. Gthunm demon spawning season waits for no one."

I don't know whether it's a good or bad thing to live in the same building where your office is located. Short commute, but you're always on-call. One of the problems of running your own business in any field — via LiveJournal

And I thought getting up as early as 5:30 to get to school in another town sucked. Poor Dawn — via LiveJournal

Early starts are not a lot of fun, but it does usually mean you get to knock off early, which is always good — via LiveJournal

The job that requires swords or early mornings? Early mornings usually mean going home early, so it's not all bad — via LiveJournal

Jesus though, it'd wait for me. :P
I like the name of the demons. And the concept indeed — a little snippet of time in the silent hours of the morning — via LiveJournal — posted by Pheral at 22.10.2005 16:19 AEST |

I used to agonise over demons names until I ran across one of the Buffy commentaries where the writers explained they just made stuff up. It's so much easier that way.
If you slept in I guess you'd just have more demons to kill later — via LiveJournal — posted by Red Wolf at 22.10.2005 16:20 AEST |

Okay, that's cute.
And I'm ashamed to admit this, but I came here with another purpose than to read the cute drabble. I need a beta for a Dawn&Spike story, and you are one fot he few authors I know who write Dawn&Spike... If you say no, I totally understand. I'm springin this on you out of nowhere. But I'd really appreiate some help with Spike.
