"Did you see the big guy go down when I hit him?" Dawn glanced out the rear window; the demons had heard the engine start and were heading back towards them.
Spike slammed the car in gear. "Gerlop demons have glass jaws, but travel in large packs. What have you learned from this?"
"Don't heckle Gerlop demons?"
"Good girl."

Spike is a better brother than Buffy's a sister. That's the way of teaching somebody. Not with shouts and commands but letting them have their own experiences. I love this:
